Meet the Staff of Resolve

Mr Dale Kayler-Thomson, J.P.

Mr Kayler-Thomson, Justice of the Peace, was a member of the Victoria Police Force for approximately 20 years. During that time he was a member of the Accident Investigation Section, from 1988 until his resignation in 1995. His last two years at the section was as the Station Commander Eastern Region of Victoria. During that time he conducted over three hundred investigations into motor vehicle collisions involving disasters, fatal and/or serious injury.

The previous Victorian State Coroner, Mr Hal Hallenstein, described Mr Kayler-Thomson as a ... "competent, thorough, quiet and efficient investigator with the same resolve, fairness and courtesy that marked him as a prosecutor. He is also an able administrator dealing with motor vehicle crash scenes, other police, other services and the public. His sense of humour and significant diplomacy and courtesy are great assets to his field administration capacity ... his honesty and integrity are absolute".
